Forshadowing?

So I was checking ESRB's website today. Remember a few years ago the rating for Earthbound was supposedly removed? I searched for it and was suprised to find it's ESRB rating was there for Wii. It's been added again at some point.

Guess what! I'm employed!

Yep. This means in a couple of months or so I'll finally have enough money for a brand-spanking new laptop and I'll be able to throw the netbook in the skip, take a shit on the skip, burn the shit in acid, neutralise the acid with alkaline, drink the water produced, piss out the water, flush the piss, eat the flush mechanism, shit out the flush mechanism, burn the shit in acid, neutralise the acid with alkaline, and so on.

So the laptop I'm looking at is VERY powerful, has all the necessary sound support I need for LPing, and is only £550! It also means I'll finally be able to play that huge ass library of Steam games I've got.

So yeah...

So you may have noticed a lot of my recent videos have been VERY filler. Long story short, since the incident that hit me a few month ago I really haven't felt like putting the effort to LP in. I've decided it's high time I get over it. We're slowly approaching the xmas season and I'll probably have some free time on me very soon. Also, despite the fact I only have my built in microphone to work with at the moment, I've been messing around with my audio input settings and should now be able to get a higher quality of input on my recording sessions. I haven't tested this out yet due to illness and me assuming I'm going to sound all funky if I record but watch this space. I've tried it with Stereo Mix input and it seems to be very good.

I'll try to get a recording down when I feel better but right now I'm suffering with a horrible cold and non-working medicine.

Custom music... Port a soundtrack?

So recently I've been considering porting a soundtrack from start to finish (ie including aranging the pieces, etc) for use in SMW. Soundtrack projects seem to be something that many porters are getting their claws into so I'm thinking why not?

Most likely I'll be porting the Mother 1 soundtrack. Why have I chosen this soundtrack? Simple! The music is great!

Lookie! Minecraft 1.9 Pre-release! New Lunar Magic! Other shizzle... Makes for a big update!

Well do you recall me saying GOP and I would LP Minecraft till 1.8? Well check it out! We're finished before we started! I hope you enjoyed our extensive LP of Minecraft. There have been some amazing times. Remember when we didn't record that one time?

I've had a few PMs recently too and have been reading a lot of comments... A reccuring question is 'where can I get the pre-release 1.9?'.

Well if you've really never thought of checking the home page of the minecraft forums, CHECK THEM!

Quite a heafty update too so you're in for a real treat! I made an army of snow golems! I blew up a netherbrick fortress using infinite TNT!

Yeah Notch and the gang have sure out-done themselves this time.

Also we have a NEW Lunar Magic! Yay? Well... Maybe... I'm still using an out-dated version... Why? I dunno. I guess I'm just waiting for an overhall... The new LM boasts a completely new Map-16 interface along with the familiar level designing capabilites.

Compatibility issues? As yet I'm not sure of any. I may have to redo some Teamhackerz1 tutorials due to the overhall.

The final thing I want to point out is lack of uploads...

Remember how I uploaded that Mario Kart video yesterday? Well that took me half an hour to upload near enough... This basically means every second of the video takes about 1 minute to upload at my current speeds.

I'm looking for an upload booster since I really want to flex my longer video limits. It'll mean I don't have to rush in Mystery Dungeon anymore!

Also yes, Mystery Dungeon is still on...

Well I guess that about covers the wacky blathering bullshit consuming my life for the moment.

Hiatus?

You may or may not have noticed my mini hiatus. Either way, I'm back now so there's no need to worry.

Where's Minecraft?

So a lot of people may be asking where the Minecraft LP is. Two words: Blame GOP.

Basically we made a test recording (which was basically me buttfucking his world with masses of TNT) and he's been having rendering problems with Sony Vegas so he is looking into alternative editing software.

So watch this space I guess...

Missing videos? Longer times! Sort of update on Minecraft.

You may notice that a few older videos have gone missing. I decided to delete some content ID matching videos that I really didn't care about anymore. I'd been meaning to do so for a while now so I finally got round to it!

I kept two videos matching 3rd party content. These were the two I felt still had a place among my videos. The first video is the Legend of Miyamoto video I recorded from Newgrounds a while ago. The second video is The Fresh Prince of Subcon. This was my Fresh Prince of Bel Air mashup I made.

Any dedicates of my videos should notice which ones have gone missing.

After checking off those videos, I went to upload my update video announcing this blog properly and noticed that I have qualified for the unlimited time limit! That means I wont have to cut things from my Minecraft LP with GOP.

Speaking of which, we were discussing the LP today and we decided, rather than just stop at the nether, we'll carry on going until the 1.8 update when Minecraft gets it's complete makover. We'll also do a few episodes in the 1.8 update to show off the new stuff such as the Endermen, adventure mode, and the none-zombie pigmen NPCs (if they are actually added in).

Instead of making each episode a single day/night cycle, we've decided we'll set mini-targets for each episode and carry on filming until we've acomplished that episode's mini-target. We're going to start recording tomorrow, fingers crossed and will still be uploading weekly.

Well I might as well come out and say it. I'm planning on starting a new collab Let's Play with GOP1994GOP. What are we playing? Well if you haven't guessed from the title of the post, we're playing Minecraft! We're going to be doing multiplayer survival. As for how far into the game we'll play? We're going to try to visit the nether at least once (which will probably end in disaster). We'll be prerecording in bulk and release the episodes weekly (or however we see fit) on both our channels. A single episode will consist of a single day/night cycle.

We should be starting the first set of recordings tomorrow if everything goes to plan. We'll soon see!
