Like an Alienware x51 but with an actual moniter and no LED crap

Just thought I'd let people know I've selected the parts for my new PC. They total around £700 and have near enough the same specs as the Alienware x51 meaning I'll have a tonne of power once I have it all assembled. I'm budgeting right now. With any luck I'll have the budget together by as late as my birthday (May), have the parts bought, and assembled.

I've lost all hope in some people...

Well... To be honest, I never had hope in them to begin with... But when a person just does something so idiotic or so bad, and claims it's a masterpiece... you've just gotta wonder... are they seriously that idiotic or are they just trolling?

I'm sure certain users know EXACTLY who I'm talking about since I just paraphrased the person but I'm not accusing this person to be the only offender either.

So I was checking ESRB's website today. Remember a few years ago the rating for Earthbound was supposedly removed? I searched for it and was suprised to find it's ESRB rating was there for Wii. It's been added again at some point.

Guess what! I'm employed!

Yep. This means in a couple of months or so I'll finally have enough money for a brand-spanking new laptop and I'll be able to throw the netbook in the skip, take a shit on the skip, burn the shit in acid, neutralise the acid with alkaline, drink the water produced, piss out the water, flush the piss, eat the flush mechanism, shit out the flush mechanism, burn the shit in acid, neutralise the acid with alkaline, and so on.

So the laptop I'm looking at is VERY powerful, has all the necessary sound support I need for LPing, and is only £550! It also means I'll finally be able to play that huge ass library of Steam games I've got.

So yeah...

LPing again soon?

So you may have noticed a lot of my recent videos have been VERY filler. Long story short, since the incident that hit me a few month ago I really haven't felt like putting the effort to LP in. I've decided it's high time I get over it. We're slowly approaching the xmas season and I'll probably have some free time on me very soon. Also, despite the fact I only have my built in microphone to work with at the moment, I've been messing around with my audio input settings and should now be able to get a higher quality of input on my recording sessions. I haven't tested this out yet due to illness and me assuming I'm going to sound all funky if I record but watch this space. I've tried it with Stereo Mix input and it seems to be very good.

I'll try to get a recording down when I feel better but right now I'm suffering with a horrible cold and non-working medicine.

Custom music... Port a soundtrack?

So recently I've been considering porting a soundtrack from start to finish (ie including aranging the pieces, etc) for use in SMW. Soundtrack projects seem to be something that many porters are getting their claws into so I'm thinking why not?

Most likely I'll be porting the Mother 1 soundtrack. Why have I chosen this soundtrack? Simple! The music is great!
